Creating our My Map Book

Today, we began creating our map books! We have been learning about the importance of maps and the purposes they serve. 

We have been reading the book, My Map Book as our mentor text. 

We started by creating our cover pages:

After our covers were finished, we revisited the maps of our faces that we had drawn on the first day of school. We added labels to make our illustrations easier to read!
