What a fun last day!

I cannot believe the school year is over!  I have had a blast with my energetic and loving kindergarteners this year.  To celebrate our last day, we decided to have some relay and team building games!

We started by playing "Blow the Fish."  This was a game that required students to use a paper plate to blow the fish completely across the rug.  The students were divided into two groups to complete this task.

Next, we worked to blow the cups completely off the table using only a straw.  Once again, the students were divided into two groups to complete this task.

Next, we worked to string 2 noodles on one spaghetti noodle.  This was a DIFFICULT task because the students were not allowed to use their hands at all!

Lastly, we worked to get a vanilla wafer into our mouths starting on our forehead.  The tricky part was that they could only use their facial muscles and movements to get the cookie down!  This game was HILARIOUS!

We also started this morning with one friend bringing in a lightning bug to show us.  We shared him as a class and then decided to let him go!
Wow!  I sure am going to miss all of my kids this summer.  I sure hope everyone has a fun and relaxing summer!

The Best Part of Me

Last week, I asked the students what they each thought was the best part of them.  I snapped a picture of their best part and printed them off this weekend. Today, we were able to complete this special writing. I hope you enjoy seeing and reading these precious writing pieces as much as I have!
