A Wonderful 7th Week of School!

We have had a great week of school!  Our literacy and math stations are in full swing and we are  learning lots of new things! Below are a few pictures from our work stations this week!
Daniel was using Wiki Sticks to form his letters.  He was working very hard!

It is hard to see, but Lake was writing the word Marsupial on the board because we have learned this week that our class pet, "Koalie" is not a bear but a Marsupial!  Lake was really excited to learn this and decided to write the word on his own.  Great job Lake!

We also had a fire fighter talk with the entire school about fire safety.  The children enjoyed watching the fire fighter put on his entire uniform.  Below is a picture from our experience.
This is our class and Mrs. Daniel's class standing to take a picture with the fire fighter dog!

Lastly, Ciarra's mom surprised us as our Mystery Reader this week!  She read one of Ciarra's favorite books.  Please enjoy a picture below.

Thanks for another great week!

  1. Daniel, you were working hard to form your letters with the Wiki sticks. That takes a lot of talent. Lake, I love that you wanted to write the word Marsupial! I am even more impressed that you all have learned that word. I'm glad you are learning a lot about Koalas. I think our bunny looks a little bit like a Koala.
I'm glad you all enjoyed spending time with our turtle, Linda.
Keep up the great work, Room 201 All*Stars!
