Constructing our Teepee

Today, we learned that Native Americans used to live in Teepees during the First Thanksgiving. We began by researching different teepes and practicing with a few of the symbols that we were going to paint. Once we were ready, we began painting the sheet that will be the covering of our Teepee. 








They had such a fun time painting the symbols!

  2. I love their excitement! You will have to take a picture of their "TP" and send it to me so that I can share it with the class! Also, I loved how they sounded out teepee and Native American! It makes sense the Teepee would be spelled TP! haha Thank you for sharing!
