Nocturnal Animals

This week, we have been studying nocturnal animals.  The three animals that we focused on were bats, owls, and raccoons.  Throughout the week, we watched informational videos and read non-fiction books to find facts on these three exciting animals.  The students recorded their facts in their wonder journals.  Today, we used our life-skill of creativity to design our own mask for one of these animals.  Below, is a picture of everyone and their finished products!
 
 
 
After creating our masks, the students were asked to tell each other 1 fact that they learned about their nocturnal animal.  Below are a few examples of students sharing.
