Using math strategies to help us add!

Last week, we focused on using strategies to help us add.  Today, we split into 5 groups and each group focused on using one strategy.  Below are the posters that were created and the videos of the students presenting their poster to the class. 

 

Strategy Number 1: Using a Number Line

 

Can you tell this group is ready to move to subtraction already?  Who knows, maybe they will be ready to learn about negative numbers too. :)
