What do trees look like in the fall?

We were so excited to add how leaves look in the season of fall to our canvas. We read the fall section of the book, The Seasons Of Arnold's Apple Tree. After reading, it was time to go on our observation walk!

We first noticed that these trees had berries growing on it! How cool!

The students were also excited to hear the leaves crunching under their feet as we were on our walk.

Look! Our adopted tree has turned from green to red!

After returning to our classroom, we illustrated what the leaves we had just observed looked like on our canvas.
