Google Earth Exploration

Today, we used google earth to find our school and other neat places in our community.  We began by searching for Walmart and Lake Bowen. After visiting a few places in our community, we had a student suggest that we visit the Statue of Liberty. A few other places we visited were Disney World, Hawaii, Japan, and Myrtle Beach!

Please take the time tonight to visit google earth with your child tonight.  Please find: your home and one place that you would like to visit!

They had so much fun visiting different places on a map using google earth!

  5. Joshua loved Google Earth. He found Oakland, our house, and other random places (mostly football stadiums, with the help of his daddy :) ). The Empire State Building was cool!
