Maps and Communities-Treasure Hunt around OES

We began our unit on maps and communities by viewing a video made by the kindergarten teachers! The students were so excited to learn that maps are used to help us find our way.  After introducing maps, we decided to go on a treasure hunt around our school looking for a hidden treasure.

We used a map of the school to help us find the treasure. 

The children did such a wonderful job using the map to find our way around the school! Please enjoy a few pictures below from our hunt!
